Second lawsuit to be filed against priest who fled to India after being accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls

At a press conference on Thursday in St. Paul, clergy abuse attorney Jeff Anderson will announce a new lawsuit filed against the Diocese of Crookston and involving the sexual abuse in 2005 of a teenage girl by a priest on loan from India.  The priest, Reverend Joseph Jeyapaul, who was also charged criminally by Roseau County authorities, fled the diocese prior to the charges being filed and returned to India where he was recently arrested as a fugitive from justice.

FOX9: Lawsuit: What Breck School knew about William Jacobs abuse, history

A Wisconsin man is suing the elite Breck School and William Jacobs, alleging he was sexually abused by Jacobs over a three year period, starting when he was 12 years old.Jacobs, a former Minneapolis Park Police chief and former Breck teacher, was given a maximum 18-year prison sentence earlier this year for the abuse of a 15-year-old boy over a period of three years, also beginning when that victim was 12.Prosecutors say there are other victims dating back to when Jacobs was a chemistry teacher at Breck School, but the cases are too old to press charges.
