Joseph Warnamunde
Father Joseph Warnamunde was born September 8, 1927. He attended St. Paul Seminary and was ordained in 1953. Father Warnamunde worked at two Minnesota parishes from 1954 until his death in 1958: St. Mary’s in New Ulm, Minn., and St. Agnes in St. Paul, Minn.
Father Warnamunde’s name was publicly released in 2015 as a priest who has been accused of sexual abuse or misconduct with a minor in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Father Warnamunde was named in a notice of claim that was submitted to the Archdiocese and its insurance carriers.
