Lawrence Inzeo: Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

In 2003, the relative of a survivor reported to the Archdiocese of New York that Fr. Lawrence Inzeo had sexually abused the survivor when he was a minor. The relative alleged that the survivor had been abused between approximately 1978 and 1983 at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, New York. In 2002, the Archdiocese of New York suspended Fr. Inzeo from ministry as a result of the allegation. In 2005, Fr. Inzeo was laicized.

Fr. Lawrence Inzeo was ordained in 1978 and worked in parishes in Newburgh, Mount Kisco, Rye, and West Harrison, New York.

1992-1995: Resurrection, Rye, NY
