Settlements Announced in Child Sexual Abuse Cases Involving the Archdiocese of New York and Diocese of Brooklyn’s Compensation Programs

Identities of Two Undisclosed Perpetrators Will be Released to the Public

(New York City, NY) – Today, Attorney J. Michael Reck of Jeff Anderson & Associates, P.A., will:

  • Announce and discuss settlements obtained on behalf of survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn. The settlements were obtained after the survivors participated in the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn’s Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Programs (IRCP).
  • Release the names and photographs of the perpetrators involved in the settlements, including the identities of two perpetrators whose identities have never been publicly released.
  • Discuss the details of the multiple compensation programs now open to survivors in the Archdiocese of New York, Diocese of Brooklyn and Diocese of Rockville Centre.
  • Encourage other sexual abuse survivors who may qualify for any of the compensation programs to come forward.
