Father Rudolph Henrich was ordained in 1933 and incardinated into the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. He worked in parishes throughout Minnesota before retiring in 1976.
Father Henrich was named by the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on December 5, 2013 as having credible claims of sexual abuse of a minor. On November 5, 2014, Father Brown’s priest file was released to the public by Jeff Anderson & Associates.
In 2010, a man wrote to the Archdiocese alleging that Father Henrich sexually abused him in the 1950’s and 1960’s at St. Margaret Mary parish in Golden Valley, Minnesota where Henrich ministered until his retirement. The Archdiocese did not reply to that letter until August of 2011 at which time they admitted that they had spoken with several other individuals who had been abused by Henrich and that they were aware of allegations of abuse as far back as 1991. Yet, Father Henrich’s name was not released to the public until 2013.
