Raymond V. Stegmann: Allegations of Substance of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

In 2003, Fr. Raymond V. Stegmann was named in a child sexual abuse lawsuit. Fr. Stegmann worked in the Diocese of Rockville Centre’s business office when he allegedly sexually abused a 17-year-old sacristan from Notre Dame Parish in New Hyde Park, New York in approximately the 1970s.

Fr. Raymond V. Stegmann was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Brooklyn on June 3, 1950, before the Diocese of Rockville Centre was created in 1957. Fr. Stegmann worked at the following locations in the Dioceses of Brooklyn and Rockville Centre:

Fr. Raymond V. Stegmann died on June 9, 2000.
