Press Event: New Abuse and Cover-up Suit Names Vatican

Even After Priest was Arrested for Abuse, Cardinal Promoted him

Every Catholic Official Involved in Shocking Case has Since Been Promoted

What
At a news conference, attorneys will announce a new child sex abuse and cover-up lawsuit against the Vatican, charging that a notorious Chicago predator priest was a direct agent of the Vatican and was promoted even though Catholic officials knew that he was molesting kids. The suit involves Father Daniel McCormack who’s behind bars and has been accused of molesting as many as 23 kids. It is being brought on behalf of the mother of one of his victims. Prosecutors are seeking to have McCormack jailed indefinitely as a “sexually violent predator.”

According to the lawsuit, McCormack raised funds for Peter’s Pence (an annual collection benefitting the Vatican) while church officials knew that he was involved in sexual misconduct with children—including this victim, John Doe 100.
