St. Paul police to reopen two cases related to Archdiocese investigation

(MPR News): The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office has asked the St. Paul Police Department to reopen two cases related to its investigation into the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

When law enforcement agencies reopen investigations related to institutional abuse, it often means new information has come forward or prior investigations may not have been fully completed. Reopened investigations can help identify additional victims, uncover new evidence, and hold offenders accountable. Law enforcement involvement is often critical in protecting communities and ensuring allegations are properly investigated.
