Timothy Brady: Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Br. Timothy Brady is a Marist brother. In 1988, Br. Brady was arrested, charged, and sentenced to prison for the alleged sexual abuse of three minor boys at Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx, New York, in approximately 1987. Br. Brady was reportedly acting principal of the parochial preparatory school at the time of the alleged abuse. Br. Brady allegedly left the school at the end of the 1986 to 1987 school year and was sent to a Marist retreat in Arizona. Br. Brady’s status as a brother, whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.

 

Br. Timothy Brady became a Marist Brother in 1964. He was still listed as a Marist Brother on the Order’s website as of June 2010.
