Fr. Patrick Kelly is a Jesuit priest from Ireland. He was a visiting priest in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in the late 1980s and early 1990s. When Fr. Kelly was criminally charged with sexually abusing a child, he fled back to Ireland in December of 1991. In April 1992, Fr. Kelly pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery of a 9-year-old girl and was sentenced to three years of probation. Fr. Kelly has been accused of sexually abusing at least four children in 1991. He has been named in at least one civil lawsuit alleging child sexual abuse. Fr. Johnson was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. As of 2002, Fr. Kelly was believed to be living in Ireland. Fr. Johnson’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are currently unknown.
