Br. Felix Shinsky was a member of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars. Sometime in 1977, Br. Shinsky allegedly sexually abused a minor. Br. Shinsky was included in the 2019 “Audit of the Capuchin Province of Mid-America (aka Province of St. Conrad)” in the subsection of members “found to have had credible allegations of sexually inappropriate/criminal behaviors against minors or vulnerable adults” in the subsection “minors.” Purportedly, Br. Shinsky has been removed from ministry and is under supervision. Br. Shinsky’s current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
