After fathering his second child, he was moved to the Diocese of San Diego and then to Albuquerque Villa, an institution run by the Servants of the Paraclete and known for treating priests accused of child sexual abuse. Fr. Brennan was subsequently transferred to the Archdiocese of San Francisco where he became the founding pastor of Holy Innocents. Fr. Brennan resigned in approximately 1995 and is believed to be married. In 2010, as part of a settlement with survivors of child sexual abuse, the Diocese of San Diego released Fr. Brennan’s personnel file. Fr. Brennan was believed to be residing in Carlsbad, California as of 2006. His current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
