Fr. Thomas Burg worked in the Diocese of Cleveland and the Archdiocese of Chicago. In 2002, the Diocese of Cleveland publicly announced that Fr. Burg was no longer in active ministry because of allegations involving abuse of minors. Fr. Burg was also alleged to have inappropriately touched a minor girl during confession. Fr. Burg’s whereabouts and whether he had access to children from 1995 until his death in 2002 are unknown.
