In 2002, the Diocese of Peoria removed Fr. Robert J. Creager from public ministry after he was accused of engaging in sexual misconduct with minors. Fr. Creager was included in the Diocese of Peoria’s list of “Priests Removed from Ministry Due to Allegations of Abuse of a Minor.” Fr. Creager’s whereabouts, status as a priest, and whether he had access to children from 2006 until his death in 2008 are unknown.
