Fr. Charles W. O’Carroll was ordained for the Archdiocese of Dublin in 1922. He began working for the Diocese of Los Angeles in 1923 and was later incardinated into the Diocese in 1929. Fr. O’Carroll has been named in at least one civil lawsuit. The sexual abuse allegedly occurred from approximately 1956 to 1958 when he worked at St. Stephen in Monterey Park. Fr. O’Carroll was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.
