Notes: Fr. James A. Jackson began sexually abusing boys soon after he was ordained. In the early 1950’s, he sexually abused a 10-year-old boy at Sacred Heart Church in Honolulu. In 2002, three survivors came forward alleging sexual abuse by Fr. Jackson when they were children. It is believed that Fr. Jackson sexually abused children for over 25 years, sometimes abusing children with another alleged perpetrator, Fr. Walter Johnson. Between 2014 and 2016, six civil lawsuits were filed in Hawaii alleging abuse by Fr. Jackson. Fr. Jackson died in 2005.
