Lee D. Krautkremer
In 1983, Father Lee Krautkremer was accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old altar boy in 1977 at a cabin in Wisconsin. The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis told the family that Father Krautkremer would never work with children again. Krautkremer was subsequently transferred to another parish, St. Michael’s, in St. Michael, Minnesota, where there was an elementary school.
Bishop Carlson stated that in 1983 Father Krautkremer admitted to “a sexual relationship” with two boys 12 years prior. Krautkremer was removed from active ministry in 2002 and was last known to be living in north Minneapolis as of 2007.
Father Lee Krautkremer’s additional assignments include: St. Peter’s in North St. Paul, Minnesota, from 1966-1967; St. Margaret Mary in Golden Valley, Minnesota, from 1967-1968; St. Michael’s in West St. Paul, Minnesota, from 1968-1975; St. Peter’s in Forest Lake, Minnesota, from 1975-1978; Boy Scouts Director in St. Paul-Minneapolis, from 1976-1984; St. Joseph’s in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, from 1978-1983; St. Michael’s in St. Michael, Minnesota, from 1983-1987; and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1987-1992.
