Notes: Msgr. Michael Harris worked in both the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Diocese of Orange. In 1994, Msgr. Harris was removed from ministry after being accused of “sexual improprieties” with a child. Msgr. Harris was subsequently accused of sexually abusing a former Mater Dei High School student in 1991. Msgr. Harris has been named in several civil lawsuits alleging child sexual abuse. According to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Msgr. Harris stands accused of abusing at least 12 children. Msgr. Harris was laicized in 2001. He was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. Msgr. Harris was also included in the Diocese of Orange’s list of clergy removed from ministry resulting from a credible allegation of sexual abuse. As of 2014, it is believed Msgr. Harris was living in Riverside, CA. Msgr. Harris’ current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
