Fr. Anthony Short was ordained a priest for the Society of Jesus. Fr. Short reportedly worked in Missouri, Wyoming, and Colorado. Sometime in the 1960s and 1970s, Fr. Short allegedly sexually abused a minor. In 2008, Fr. Short is reported to have been removed from ministry and living in a skilled nursing facility under supervision. Fr. Short was included in the Jesuits of the U.S. Central and Southern Province’s list of “Jesuits with Credible Allegations of Abuse of a Minor” in the subsection “A Single Allegation.” Per the 2019 Official Catholic Directory, Fr. Short is listed at the Jesuit Community Corporation at St. Louis University – Jesuit Hall in St. Louis, Missouri.
