Fr. Anthony Paone was ordained a Jesuit priest. In 2002, Fr. Paone was accused of sexual abusing a minor in approximately 1953 while Fr. Paone worked at Brooklyn Preparatory School in Brooklyn, New York. The accusation was determined to be credible after investigation. Fr. Paone is named on the Northeast Province Jesuits’ 2019 list, “USA Northeast Province Jesuits with Credible Allegations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor.”
