Fr. Gerhardt Lehmkuhl was ordained a priest of the Society of Jesus. Fr. Lehmkuhl reportedly worked at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. In 1995, Fr. Lehmkuhl was caught ordering a video containing child pornography. An investigation was conducted and purportedly seven other videos depicting child pornography were found in Fr. Lehmkuhl’s possession. Fr. Lehmkuhl plead guilty and, in 1996, he was sentenced to one year in prison. The Jesuits U.S. Central and Southern Province publicly named Fr. Lehmkuhl in its 2018 “List of Jesuits with Credible Accusations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor” in the category “Jesuits of the U.S. Central and Southern Province (and its predecessor entities) with Credible Allegations of Abuse of a Minor – A Single Allegation.”
