Fr. Leo Bonfadini was ordained in the Diocese of Pueblo. Fr. Bonfadini was publicly named in the Colorado Attorney General’s Special Master’s Report on “Roman Catholic Clergy Sexual Abuse of Children in Colorado from 1950 to 2019.” According to the Special Master’s Report, in 1994 Fr. Bonfadini was accused of sexually abusing a minor teenage boy in the rectory of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Pueblo, Colorado, in approximately 1979. Fr. Bonfadini was placed on leave in 1995 and was subsequently sent to St. Luke’s, an institution known for treating priests accused of child sexual abuse. Fr. Bonfadini’s is believed to be residing in Denver, Colorado. His current status as a priest and whether he has access to children are unknown.
