Fr. Melvin Thompson was ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Denver. In 2010, Fr. Thompson was accused of sexually abusing a minor in approximately the early 1970s. Fr. Thompson was subsequently removed from ministry, but was later reinstated after the Archdiocese of Denver found the allegation to be unsubstantiated.
