Fr. Patrick Nicholson was assigned as a chaplain for the Air Force Academy and was reportedly stationed in Colorado Springs in 1983, according to a civil lawsuit filed against him. In 1984, it was alleged that Fr. Nicholson forced a cadet into a sexual relationship after the cadet went to Fr. Nicholson for counseling. In 2003, another woman came forward and alleged that Fr. Nicholson sexually abused her when she was a minor living near Montgomery, Alabama. Fr. Nicholson was included in the 2018 “Names of Credibly Accused Clergy Released to the People of the Archdiocese of Mobile” list in the section “[p]riest and deacons of the Archdiocese of Mobil who have been credibly accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. ”Nicholson’s current whereabouts, his status as a priest, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
