Fr. Philip Marin was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Pueblo. In 2009, Fr. Marin was accused of sexually abusing a minor girl in approximately 1956 while he worked at Our Lady of Assumption in Trinidad. Fr. Marin was included in the Colorado Attorney General’s Special Master’s Report on “Roman Catholic Clergy Sexual Abuse of Children in Colorado from 1950 to 2019.” Fr. Marin’s status as a priest, his whereabouts, and whether he had access to children from approximately 1974 until his death in 1976 are unknown.
