Notes: Fr. Robert Carden ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of New York. In the late 1980s, Fr. Carden began working in the Diocese of Pueblo in Colorado. Fr. Carden was publicly identified by the Archdiocese of New York in its 2019 “List of Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor or the Subject of Eligible IRCP Compensation Claims” under the subsection “[t]he following archdiocesan clergy have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor.” The details of the allegations, including when and where the abuse occurred, are unknown. Fr. Carden’s status as a priest, whereabouts, and whether he had access to children until his death in 2008 are unknown.
