Fr. Thomas Woerth was ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Denver. Fr. Woerth was included in the Colorado Attorney General’s Special Master’s Report on “Roman Catholic Clergy Sexual Abuse of Children in Colorado from 1950 to 2019.” In March 2019, the Archdiocese of Denver received a report that Fr. Woerth sexually abused a minor high school student from 1971 to 1973. At the time of the abuse, Fr. Woerth was assistant pastor at Holy Trinity Parish in Colorado Springs and the Religious Coordinator at St. Mary’s High School. Fr. Woerth reportedly denied the allegations and the Archdiocese removed his faculties. Fr. Woerth’s current status as a priest, his whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
