In 1968, Fr. Leonard Paul Kmak resigned from the priesthood to marry, resulting in his laicization in 1969. In a 2005 lawsuit, Fr. Kmak was accused of child sexual abuse that allegedly occurred in 1962 at St. Fidelis in Chicago. Fr.
