Fr. Sung Lam: Accused of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor

Fr. Sung Lam was reportedly a priest from the Diocese of Phnom-Penn in Cambodia who worked in the Diocese of Phoenix. Fr. Lam was named on the Diocese of Phoenix’s list of “Names of priests and deacons from other dioceses who may no longer serve in the Diocese of Phoenix due to an accusation of sexual misconduct with a minor.” According to this list, a report was made in 1993 accusing Fr. Lam of sexual misconduct with a minor. This list also states that Fr. Lam worked in the Vietnamese Catholic Apostolate within the Diocese of Phoenix and left the Diocese in 1994. Fr. Lam’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
