In 2004, a woman received a settlement from the Archdiocese of Chicago after reporting having been sexually abused by Fr. Paul O’Toole in 1966 when she was 16 years old. The woman first reported she was sexually abused to the Archdiocese in the early 1990s. It is believed that Fr. O’Toole left the priesthood to marry. Fr. O’Toole was believed to be residing in Orland Park, Illinois as of, however, his whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
