Fr. Raymond J. Ethier worked in the Diocese of Albany until 2007, when he was arrested after child pornography
was found on his computer. Fr. Ethier was subsequently sentenced to 48 months in prison and was defrocked in 2008.
Fr. Ethier has been named on the Diocese of Albany’s lists of “Clergy Credibly Accused While Serving in the Diocese of
Albany.” Fr. Ethier’s current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
