Fr. Robert H. Purcell was ordained in the Diocese of Albany. In 2011, Fr. Purcell was removed from ministry after the Diocese of Albany’s Sexual Misconduct Review Board determined there to be credible accusations that he had sexually abused minors. Fr. Purcell is listed on the Diocese of Albany’s lists of “Clergy Credibly Accused While Serving in the Diocese of Albany.”
