Fr. E. Alan Ruppert was accused of Fr. E. Alan Ruppert was accused of engaging in sexual misconduct with at least one minor. Fr. Ruppert was removed from duties as pastor in 1998. Fr. Ruppert’s name appears as Alan E. Ruppert in the Official Catholic Directory starting in 2000; the same year he took a leave of absence following the sexual abuse allegations. Fr. Ruppert was also a chaplain for a Boy Scout summer camp at Camp Joy near Carlyle. In 2018, Fr.
