Fr. Richard L. Skriba was ordained in 1949. In 2002, a survivor came forward and accused Fr. Skriba of repeated child sexual abuse that occurred over multiple years. The survivor first reported the abuse to the Archdiocese in 1998, but the accusations were never made public because Fr. Skriba died the same year. Fr. Skriba is the brother of Raymond Francis Skriba, also accused of child sexual abuse. The Archdiocese settled a civil suit brought by a survivor of Fr. Richard Skriba.
