Br. Richard Allen Suttle was a member of the Claretian Missionaries. Between 1982 and 1983, Br. Suttle worked as a teacher and coach at Sacred Heart School in Prescott, Arizona. From 1988 to 1998, he was employed at Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix, Arizona, as a teacher and coach. In 2002, Br. Suttle purportedly spent time in Vietnam as a missionary teaching English. Br. Suttle worked as the principal of Sacred Heart School in Prescott, Arizona, between 2006 and 2008. In 2008, Br. Suttle was reportedly credibly accused of alleged child sexual abuse that allegedly occurred from approximately 1982 to 1983 at Sacred Heart School in Prescott, Arizona. After the allegations surfaced, Br. Suttle reportedly studied and lived with the Claretian Missionaries at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas, a few blocks from Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital. In 2010, Br. Suttle was allegedly assigned to direct a high school in East Nigeria. As of 2013, he is believed to be in Buenos Aires, Argentina with the Claretian United Nations team. Br. Suttle’s status as a brother, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
