Fr. Bernard Waltos worked in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in the late 1970s. He also worked at Queen of Angels Parish in Riverside, CA for approximately 10 years. It is believed he also worked at St. Paul’s in San Pablo, CA. In 2010, a judge ordered the release of documents relating to the sexual abuse of children by priests in the Diocese of San Diego. Fr. Waltos’ personnel file was released at that time. From approximately 1979 until his death in 1992, Fr. Waltos’ status as a priest, his whereabouts, and whether he had access to children are unknown.
