Deacon Louis Wojtowicz was ordained a deacon in 1997, removed from public ministry in 1999, and dismissed from Mundelein seminary in 2000. In 2018 Deacon Wojtowicz was added to the “Archdiocese of Chicago’s list of Archdiocesan Deacons with Substantiated Allegations of Sexual Misconduct with Minors.” Deacon Wojtowicz’s whereabouts and whether he had access to children from 2005 until his death in 2013 are unknown.
