Fr. Stanislaus Yunker was first publicly accused of sexual abuse in a 2018 lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, both Fr. Yunker and Fr. Louis Schlangen sexually abused a girl from approximately 1973 to 1975, when she was approximately five to seven years old. At the time of the alleged abuse, the girl and her family were parishioners of SS. Peter and Paul in Springfield, Illinois.
