Archdiocese of San Francisco to be Questioned Under Oath by Survivors of Clergy Sexual Abuse and the Department of Justice

(San Francisco, CA) – Tomorrow (9.28.23), at 10:00 AM PDT, an Archdiocese of San Francisco representative is required to appear for the Meeting of the Creditors and will be questioned regarding the financial conditions of the Archdiocese of San Francisco and its recent decision to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. In this meeting, survivors who were sexually abused in the Archdiocese of San Francisco will have the opportunity to question the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s decisions, including Archbishop Cordileone’s ongoing decisions to continue to stonewall survivors from receiving justice.
