Boy Scouts of America Sued for Nuisance Seeking Release of Nearly 3,000 Hidden Perpetrators—Newark Press Conference Tuesday

New Jersey Boy Scouts Sexual Abuse Survivor to Speak Publicly For The First Time Tuesday

(Newark, NJ) – At a news conference on Tuesday in Newark, a New Jersey Boy Scouts sexual abuse survivor and the law firms of Greg Gianforcaro and Jeff Anderson & Associates will:

  • Announce a lawsuit filed by a sexual abuse survivor against the Boy Scouts of America for concealing a known hazard by keeping secret nearly 3,000 Ineligible Volunteer (“Perversion) Files;
  • A sexual abuse survivor who was abused as a Boy Scout by a former Scout leader will speak publicly for the first time about his abuse by the Scout leader and his experience in Scouting;
  • Demand that BSA release the identities, background information and files on all BSA perpetrators in New Jersey and nationwide who have been accused of sexual misconduct with minors.
