Prominent Clergy Abuse Attorneys Reaching Out to Victims of Clergy Abuse in Milwaukee Archdiocese

Jeff Anderson and Paul Scoptur, Along with Several Survivors of Clergy Abuse, Will Announce Launch of outreach effort at Thursday News Conference in Milwaukee

What
At a news conference on Thursday in Milwaukee, attorneys who represent numerous victims of clergy sex abuse in the bankruptcy of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee will announce the launch of an effort to reach out to victims of clergy abuse and the importance of acting now.

Why
Reports have documented hundreds of clergy abuse cases in the Milwaukee Archdiocese over four decades.  Many of the victims in these cases may not be aware of the Archdiocese’s bankruptcy filing or how it may affect their ability to file a claim.  Because the bankruptcy court will limit amount of time allowed to bring claims, it is important to publicize this opportunity for victims to be informed and come forward.
