Press Event: New Lawsuit Says Bevilacqua’s Policies endangered children and Allowed Father Robert Brennan to Sexually Abuse plaintiff

Actions of Cardinal Bevilacqua Figure Large in Allowing Abuse at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish in Philadelphia

At a news conference on Monday in Philadelphia, Attorneys Jeff Anderson, Marci Hamilton and Dan Monahan will announce a new civil lawsuit against the Philadelphia Archdiocese, Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, Cardinal Justin Rigali, Msgr. William Lynn and Father Robert Brennan.

The lawsuit will be filed on behalf a 32 year-old Phoenix, Arizona, man who grew up in Philadelphia, attended Resurrection Parish and was sexually abused by Father Robert Brennan while working in the parish rectory from 1993 thru 1994.
