At a news conference on Monday attorney Jeff Anderson and several survivors will announce a significant settlement of lawsuits brought by nine victims of sexual abuse against Collegeville, Minnesota-based Order of St. Benedict, St. John’s Preparatory School, St. John’s Abbey, and eleven clergy defendants.
The settlement includes several non-monetary child protection disclosure issues that are of major importance—including names of previously undisclosed predator priests.
