Two courageous survivors to speak publicly and demand action from the bishops
(Chicago, IL): At a virtual news conference today, clergy abuse survivors and attorneys from Jeff Anderson & Associates and Frost Pearlman LLC will:
- Challenge all Illinois bishops to release all names of religious order priests credibly accused of child sexual abuse.
- Release a digital flyer with the names of 175 religious order priests who are accused of child sexual abuse and worked in the six Illinois dioceses.
- Express the fear and deep-rooted concern for the safety of countless children.
WHEN: Thursday, June 3, 2021 – 1:00 PM CST
FORMAT: The press conference will take place over a secure Zoom conference call and will be filmed live in our Saint Paul office. Attendees will be on mute upon arrival but will be able to submit questions through Zoom chat. Alternatively, attendees can wait until the conclusion of the presentation to ask questions directly over Zoom.
